THE BOOK OF ECCLESIASTES (PART SIX)

ECCLESIASTES WAS WRITTEN TO THE MAN UNDER THE SUN (THE FLESH MAN).

THIS BOOK TEACHES YOU HOW TO BE HAPPY WHILE YOU ARE IN THE FLESH.

Ecclesiastes 6:1 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, and it is common among men:

THE EVIL IS THE HARDSHIP MEN HAVE TO ENDURE SOME TIMES IN THIS FLESH LIFE.

6:2   A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honor, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger  eateth it: this is vanity (EMPTINESS), and it is an evil disease.

IT IS AN EVIL DISEASE IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY FOR ALL THE RICHES AND WEALTH GOD HAS GIVEN YOU AND WANT MORE. IT'S CALLED GREED.

6:3  If a man beget an hundred children, and live many years, so that the days of his years be many, and his soul be not filled with good (JOY), and also that he have no burial; I say, that an untimely birth is better than he.

A MISCARRIAGE WOULD BE BETTER TO SOMEONE WHO CANNOT BE HAPPY WITH GOD'S BLESSINGS, BUT THINK EVERYTHING IS A BURDEN.

6:4  For he cometh with vanity, and departeth in darkness, and his name shall be covered with darkness.

AN EMPTY PERSON WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF THE DAY.

6:5  Moreover he hath not seen the sun, nor known anything: this hath more rest than the other.

A MISCARRIAGE WILL BE BETTER IF YOU CAN'T ENJOY YOUR BLESSINGS.

6:6  Yea, though he live a thousand years twice told, yet hath he seen no good (DOES NO GOOD): do not all go to one place ?

EVEN IF HE LIVED A THOUSAND YEARS HE HAS NO JOY IN LIFE ; HE IS WALKING IN DARKNESS.

WE ALL GOING TO GO IN THE SAME PLACE (HEAVEN). BUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE GOD IN YOU YOU WON'T STAY THERE.

6:7  All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.

THE LABOR FOR THE FLESH MAN IS ONLY GOING TO FEED HIS PHYSICAL SELF, NOT THE SPIRIT. WITHOUT THE SPIRITUAL SELF THERE IS NOT COMPLITNESS.

6:8  For what hath the wise more than the fool? what hath the poor, that knoweth to walk before the living?

THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM IS GOD (PROVERBS 1:7).

A WISE PERSON FEEDS HIS SPIRITUAL SELF.

6:9  Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit (CHASING THE WIND).

DON'T BE A DREAMER WHO CAN NEVER SEE REALITY; BE RESPONSIBLE.

LOOK AT THE WORD AND BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS.

6:10  That which hath been is named already, and it is known that it is man (CLAY, FLESH): neither may he contend with Him That is mightier than he.

YOU ARE MADE OUT OF CLAY. YOU CANNOT OVERCOME GOD WHO MADE YOU FROM THAT CLAY.

6:11  Seeing there be many things that increase vanity, what is man the better?

6:12  For who knoweth what is good for man in his life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow ? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun (HE DIES AND GOES BACK TO THE FATHER. HAVING ETERNAL LIFE DEPENDS IF YOU HAVE GOD IN YOU)?

WHEN YOU WALK IN THE LIGHT YOU HAVE A SHADOW. YOU DON'T HAVE A SHADOW IF YOU WALK IN DARKNESS.

CHRIST IS THE LIGHT AND WITHOUT HIM THERE IS DARKNESS.

GOD BLESS
