THE TWO CHURCHES CHRIST IS PLEASED WITH (PART TWO)

CONTINUING OUR STUDY FROM THE BOOK OF REVELATION.

REVELATION MEANS "UNCOVERING ", OR "REVEALING" IN THE GREEK.

IT DESCRIBES THE EVENTS THAT WILL HAPPEN JUST BEFORE AND AFTER CHRIST RETURNS.

IN THIS STUDY, WE ARE GOING TO SEE THE CHURCHES OF OUR TIME CHRIST WAS PLEASED WITH, AND THE CHURCHES HE WASN'T.  FROM THE SEVEN TYPES OF CHURCHES HE ONLY FOUND TWO HE WAS PLEASED WITH.

LET'S GO TO THE WORD.

IN PART ONE, WE LEARNT THAT HE WAS PLEASED WITH ONE TYPE OF CHURCH ; THE CHURCH OF SMYRNA.

Revelation 2:18    And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write ; 'These things saith the Son of God, Who hath His eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass ;

 THE FIRE AND THE FINE BRASS PRESENT THE POWER AND STRENGTH ON HIS BODY.

2:19    I know thy works, and charity (love), and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works ; and the last to be more than the first.

HE IS IMPRESSED WITH THEIR ACTIONS BUT, HE HAS SOMETHING AGAINST THEM.

2:20   Notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.

THIS TYPE OF CHURCH CLAIMS TO BE VERY RELIGIOUS. HOWEVER THEY LISTEN TO FALSE TEACHINGS.

2:21    And I gave her space to repent of her fornication ; and she repented not.

THIS TYPE OF CHURCH WILL NOT REPENT.

2:22    Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

HE IS GOING TO ALLOW SATAN (ANTICHRIST = INSTEAD OF CHRIST IN THE GREEK) TO DECEIVE AND TAKE OVER THAT CHURCH.

2:23    And I will kill her children with death ; and all the churches shall know that I am He Which searcheth the reins and hearts : and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

IN OTHER WORDS, I WILL KILL SPIRITUALLY THE CONGREGATION OF THAT CHURCH ; I'M THE ONE WHO CAN READ YOUR MIND AND SEARCH THE VERY INSIDE OF YOU. THEY WILL BE JUDGED ACCORDING TO THEIR WORKS.

2:24    But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak ; I will put upon you none other burdens.

DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE DOCTRINE OF THAT CHURCH.

THE OTHER MAN THAT PEOPLE WILL WORSHIP WILL BE SATAN.

2:25    But that which ye have already, hold fast till I come.

AT LEAST YOU MAINTAIN THAT.

2:26    And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations :

2:27    And he shall rule them with a rod of iron ; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers : even as I received of My Father.

RULE = SHEPHERD.

2:28    And I will give him the morning star.

MORNING STAR = EARLY LIGHT.

NOTE:  LUCIFER CALLS HIMSELF  A MORNING STAR (ISAIAH 14). HE LOVES TO COPY CHRIST.

NOTE : CHURCHES ARE MENTIONED TILL THE END OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION (REV. 22:16).

2:29     He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

WHY HE KEEPS SAYING THAT ? BECAUSE NOT EVERYONE HAS EARS TO HEAR WITH UNDERSTANDING. HE HAS PLACED CERTAIN BLINDERS ON SOME PEOPLE FOR THEIR OWN PROTECTION (ROMANS 11:7-10).  THEY ARE TOO WEAK TO SERVE CHRIST AT THAT TIME.

3:1    And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write ; 'These things saith He That hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars ; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

SEVEN SPIRITS = ANGELS.

SEVEN STARS = THE SEVEN ANGELS OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES.

NUMBER # 7 MEANS, SPIRITUAL COMPLITNESS IN BIBLICAL NUMERICS.

THIS CHURCH WAS DEAD SPIRITUALLY.

3:2    Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die : for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

HANG ON TO THE THINGS YOU GOT.

HE COMPLIMENTS THE PART THAT THIS CONGREGATION WAS TRYING.

3:3   Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

IF YOU DON'T REPENT AND TURN BACK TO MY WORD, I WILL COME ON TO YOU AS A THIEF (you do not know when a thief arrives).

THEY WILL WORSHIP SATAN THINKING HE IS CHRIST, BECAUSE, THEY DON'T KNOW THE TRUE CHRIST.

3:4     Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments ; and they shall walk with Me in white : for they are worthy.

IN WHITE = THE RIGHTEOUS GARMENT.

THEY ARE PEOPLE IN THIS CHURCH THAT KNOW THE LORD AND DO WHAT IS RIGHT.

3:5    He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment ; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels.

THE ONES WHO OVERCOME HE WILL NOT ERASE THEIR NAME FROM THE BOOK OF LIFE.

3:6     He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

3:7     And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write ; 'These things saith He That is Holy, He That is True, He That hath the key of David, He That openeth, and no man shutteth, and shutteth, and no man openeth ;

THIS TYPE OF CHURCH CHRIST IS PLEASED WITH.

THE KEY OF DAVID = IT HAS TO DO WITH CHRIST. THEY KNOW THE TRUTH.

THERE IS NO MAN THAT CAN DECEIVE THIS CHURCH.

3:8    I know thy works : behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it : for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept My word, and hast not denied My name.

THIS CHURCH HAS KEPT GOD'S WORD INSTEAD OF SOMEONE ELSE'S.

3:9     Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie ; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

WHAT THIS CHURCH HAS IN COMMON WITH THE CHURCH OF SMYRNA ?

BOTH OF THOSE CHURCHES KNOW WHO THE KENITES (SATAN'S OFFSPRING) ARE.

THESE TWO TYPES OF CHURCHES CHRIST IS PLEASED WITH.

3:10    Because thou hast kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION = SATAN TEMPTING THE WORLD WITH HIS LIES.

THIS CHURCH WILL NOT BE TEMPTED BY HIM.

3:11      Behold, I come quickly : hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

DON'T LET ANY MAN TAKE YOUR CROWN BY DECEIVING YOU.

3:12    Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the Temple of My God, and he shall go no more out : and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from My God : and I will write upon him My new name.

MY NEW NAME = HE RETAKES HIS WIFE SPIRITUALLY (ISAIAH 62:4).

3:13     He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.'

3:14     And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write ; 'These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the beginning of the creation of God ;

3:15     I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot : I would thou wert cold or hot.

THIS TYPE OF CHURCH CANNOT MAKE UP ITS MIND.

CHRIST WANT THIS CHURCH TO MAKE UP ITS OWN MIND WHO HE WOULD FOLLOW.

3:16      So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.

BECAUSE YOU CAN'TMAKE A STAND I'LL VOMIT YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH.

THIS CHURCH WON'T EVEN TRY TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH.

3:17     Because thou sayest, "I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing ;" and knowest not that thou art  wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked :

3:18    I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich ; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear ; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

A FIGURE OF SPEECH.

THIS CHURCH HAS NOTHING SPIRITUALLY, AND IT NEEDS TO SEE THE LIGHT.

3:19      As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten : be zealous therefore, and repent.

ZEALOUS = ANXIOUS.

THE ONES HE LOVES HE CHASTISES. REPENT.

THE TWO CHURCHES CHRIST IS PLEASED WITH (PART ONE)

 In the book of Revelation Jesus talks about the churches of our world.  Out of seven types of churches He only found two He was pleased with (Rev. 2 & 3).

REVELATION MEANS, "UNCOVERING", "REVEALING".

THIS BOOK REVEALS ALL THE EVENTS THAT WILL HAPPEN BEFORE CHRIST RETURNS.

What these two churches taught that other ones didn't ?  LET'S FIND OUT.

Revelation 2:1    Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write ; 'These things saith He That holdeth the seven stars in His right hand, Who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks ;

THE SEVEN STARS = THE ANGELS OF THE SEVEN CHURCHES (REV. 1:20).

THE SEVEN GOLDEN CANDLESTICKS = THE SEVEN CHURCHES (REV. 1:20).

THOSE CHURCHES WERE CIRCULATED IN A CIRCLE.

THEY WERE ONLY A TYPE AND THEY PRESENT THE CHURCHES OF OUR TIME.

2:2    I know thy works, and thy labor and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil, and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars :

IN OTHER WORDS, THIS PARTICULAR CHURCH KNOW WHEN SOMEONE PRETENDS TO BE A PREACHER.

2:3    And hast borne, and hast patience, and for My name's sake hast labored, and hast not fainted.

2:4    Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

IN OTHER WORDS, I'M AGAINST YOUR CHURCH, BECAUSE YOU LEFT YOUR FIRST LOVE.

THE FIRST LOVE IS OUR FATHER, AND IN THIS CASE THE SON.  

THIS CHURCH LEFT OUT GOD'S WORD AS IT IS WRITTEN AND REPLACED IT WITH THEIR CHURCH SYSTEM. 

2:5    Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works ; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

THE FIRST WORKS = LEARNING THE LIVING WORD.

REPENT, OTHERWISE I WILL CUT YOUR PART FROM THE MANYMEMBERED BODY OF CHRIST.

2:6      But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

THE NICOLAITANES = HISTORY HAS NO RECORD OF THESE. TRADITION SAYS MUCH. THEY WILL APPEAR "IN THAT DAY".  ALL WE DO KNOW IS THAT THEY ARE HATEFUL TO GOD AND PROBABLY IDOL WORSHIPPERS.

2:7    He that hath an eat, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches ; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.'

MAKE A NOTE OF REV. 22:14.

2:8    And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write ; 'These things saith the First and the last, Which was dead, and is alive ;

FIRST = START

LAST = FINISH

2:9    I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty (but thou art rich), and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

JESUS WAS PLEASED WITH THIS CHURCH. WHY ? BECAUSE IT TEACHES ITS CONGREGATION WHO THE KENITES (SATAN'S OFFSPRING) ARE.

THE KENITES CAME TO JERUSALEM FOR PROTECTION, AND THEY ENDED UP CALLING THEMSELVES JEWS (JER. 35).

THIS CHURCH IS RICH IN PEACE OF MIND, WISDOM, AND KNOWLEDGE.

2:10    Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer : behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried ; and ye shall have tribulation ten days : be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

SOME OF THE PEOPLE OF THIS CHURCH WILL BE DELIVERED UP TO SATAN'S COUNSEL (WHEN SATAN IS HERE ON EARTH PLAYING THE ROLE OF CHRIST).  HE WILL TRY TO CONVERT THEM FOR TEN DAYS.

ONE OF SATAN'S NAMES IS DEATH (HEB. 2:14).

2:11    He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches ; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.'

THE ONES WHO OVERCOME WILL NOT BE TOUCHED BY THE SECOND DEATH, WHICH ISTHE DEATH OF YOUR SOUL.

2:12    And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write ; 'These things saith He Which hath the sharp sword with two edges ;

PERGAMOS = RAISED TO A HIGH PLACE.

THE TWO EDGED SWORD = CHRIST' TRUTH THAT CUTS BOTH WAYS.

2:13   I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is : and thou holdest fast My name, and hast not denied My faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

ANTIPAS IS A WITNESS IN FUTURE WHO WILL REMAIN FAITHFUL TO THE TRUE FATHER.  THE REST OF THE CONGREGATION OF THAT CHURCH WILL BE DECEIVED.

2:14    But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

BALAAM WAS A GOOD PROPHET BUT HE LOVED MONEY.

THIS TYPE OF CHURCH TEACHES THE WORD FOR MONEY.  

2:15    So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

IT ALSO TEACHES THE DOCTRINE OF THE NICOLAITANES (PROBABLY IDOL WORSHIPPERS).

2:16    Repent ; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.

IT WOULDN'T BE A GOOD THING IF CHRIST COMES TO DISCIPLINE YOU.

2:17     He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.'

HIDDEN MANNA = HIDDEN TRUTH.

A WHITE STONE = WHITE = PURITY.

THERE IS NO MARRIAGE IN HEAVEN

When we die we go instantly to the Father (Eccl. 12, II Cor. 5:8). There is no one who stays on the ground.

We are changed into our spiritual body instantly when we part this world (I Cor. 15:38-52) ; there is no conception, and no childbirth.

LET'S GO TO THE WORD.

Mark 12:18    Then come unto Him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection ; and they asked Him, saying,

THE SADDUCEES WERE THE ARISTOCRATIC AND CONSERVATIVE PARTY POLITICALLY ; AND DOCTRINALLY THEY NEGATIVED THE TEACHING OF THE PHARISEES, EVEN DENYING THE DOCTRINE OF THE RESURRECTION.

IN OTHER WORDS, THEY DID NOT BELIEVE THERE IS LIFE AFTER DEATH.

12:19    "Master, Moses wrote unto us, 'If a man's brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.'

12:20    Now there were seven brethren : and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed.

12:21    And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed : and the third likewise.

12:22    And the seven had her, and left no seed : last of all the woman died also.

ALL THESE MEN WERE MARRIED TO HER.

12:23    In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them ? for the seven had her to wife."

WE GO TO THE FATHER INSTANTLY WHEN WE DIE.

12:24     And Jesus answering said unto them, "Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God ?

12:25    For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage ; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

WHEN WE DIE WE ARE THROUGH WITH THIS LIFE ; WE ARE LIKE THE ANGELS IN HEAVEN (NO WINGS).

Always check out the scriptures ; do not believe everything you hear even if it comes out of a pastor's mouth.

CHRIST'S GENEALOGY

 

Most people do not know the real genealogy of Christ.  They think He came through Joseph.

This is not correct ; Joseph was His step-father.  God was His Father.

LET'S GO TO THE WORD :

ROMANS 9:5     Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came,  Who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.

THE FATHERS ARE THE 12 PATRIARCHS.

CHRIST CAME FROM THOSE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL.

9:6    Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect.  For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel : 

ABRAHAM WAS NOT CALLED ISRAEL ; JACOB WAS.

9:7     Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children : but "In Isaac shall thy seed be called."

CHRIST CAME FROM THE SEED OF ISAAC.

THE GENEALOGY OF MARY (JESUS' MOTHER) IS WRITTEN IN LUKE 3:23.

LUKE 3:23    And Jesus Himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli.

AS WAS SUPPOSED = AS IT WAS BY LAW. 

JOSEPH WAS BEGOTTEN BY JACOB, AND WAS HIS NATURAL SON (MATT. 1:16).  HE COULD BE THE LEGAL SON OF HELI, THEREFORE, ONLY BY MARRIAGE WITH HELI'S DAUGHTER (MARY), AND BE RECKONED SO ACCORDING TO LAW.  IT DOES NOT SAY BEGAT IN THE CASE OF HELI.

THE SON OF HELI = THE GENEALOGY OF THE IDEAL MAN BEGINS FROM HIS FATHER, AND GOES BACKWARD AS FAR AS MAY BE. THAT OF A KING BEGINS AT THE SOURCE OF HIS DYNASTY AND ENDS WITH HIMSELF.

MARY HAD NO BROTHER, THEREFORE, THE GENEALOGY ACCORDING TO THEIR LAW PASSED DOWN TO JOSEPH WHEN HE MARRIED MARY.

MARY'S FATHER WAS FROM THE TRIBE OF JUDAH ; MARY'S MOTHER FROM LEVI.

THEREFORE JESUS WAS FROM THE PRIESTLINE AND THE KINGLINE.

TEST THE FRUIT

I TIMOTHY 5:22    Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins : keep thyself pure.

PURE = NOT AS THE WORD IS USED TODAY, BUT AS CLEAR FROM AIDING IN SENDING UNFIT MEN AND WOMEN INTO THE MINISTRY, FROM WHICH CHURCHES COULD BE SUFFERING.

II EPISTLE OF JOHN 1:1    THE elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth ; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth ;

TO THE ELECT CHURCH AND ITS CONGREGATION THAT KNOW THE TRUTH.

1:2     For the truth's sake which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us forever.

WHEN YOU KNOW THE TRUTH NOBODY CAN DECEIVE YOU.

1:3     Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

1:4     I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

THOSE CHILDREN I FOUND WALKING IN TRUTH (SOME WEREN'T CLOSE AS OTHERS).

1:5     And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

1:6    And this is love, that we walk after His commandments.  This is the commandment, that, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

1:7    For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh.  This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

THIS CHURCH CLAIMS TO BE CHRISTIAN AND IS NOT ; THEY DON'T BELIEVE CHRIST CAME IN THE FLESH.

1:8      Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

IN OTHER WORDS, DON'T LOSE THAT YOU HAVE GAINED.

1:9     Whosoever transgresseth and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

THE ONES THAT DO NOT TEACH IN THE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST ARE NOT TRUE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES, AND GOD IS NOT IN THEM.

1:10    If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed :

1:11    For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

IN OTHER WORDS, GOD HOLDS ACCOUNTABLE THE ONE THAT SUPPORTS A CHURCH THAT DOES NOT TEACH THE WORD AS IT IS WRITTEN.

YOU ARE ALSO HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO HIM, IF YOU FINANCE A PLACE LIKE THAT.

Always test the fruit when you enter a church ; not all churches teach the truth.  As a matter of fact Christ has only found two churches (out of seven) of our time He is pleased with (Rev. 2 & 3).

You might ask how do I do that ?  It's very simple :  If it's not in the word it's not true.

CHRIST OUR SABBATH

                                                                    THE REST GIVER

Sabbath means rest, and Christ is that Sabbath.

God will give you a peace of mind and take care of you if you are in that rest.

Hebrews 4:1    Let us therefore fear, lest a promise being left us of entering into His rest (Sabbath), any of you should seem to come short of it.

UNBELIEF BRINGS SHORTCOMINGS.

4:2    For unto us was the gospel preached (taught), as well as unto them : but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

THEY ALL HEARD THE GOSPEL.

FAITH BRINGS THAT BELIEF.

GOD IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN GIVE US A PEACE OF MIND.

4:3    For we which have believed do enter into rest, as He said, "As I have sworn in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest :" although the works were finished from the foundation* of the world.

THE WORKS OF HIS REST, OF HIS SALVATION, WAS FINISHED BEFORE THE OVERTHROW OF SATAN (KATABOLE IN THE GREEK).

4:4    For He spake in a certain place of the seventh day from all His works."

4:5   And in this place again, "If they shall enter into My rest."

HE ALWAYS HAD IT AVAILABLE TO US.

4:6    Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief :

UNBELIEF = DISOBEDIENCE.

DISOBEDIENCE IS NOT A GOOD THING TO BRING INTO YOUR FAMILY.

4:7    Again, He limiteth a certain day, saying in David, "Today," after so long a time ; as it is said, "Today if ye will hear  His voice, harden not your hearts."

QUOTED PHALMS 95:7.

4:8    For if Jesus had given them rest, then would He not afterward have spoken of another day.

JESUS = JOSHUA (not Jesus).

JOSHUA DID NOT GIVE THEM THAT REST (SOME FAILED TO GO INTO THE PROMISE LAND), JESUS DOES.

4:9    There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

THE GREAT DAY OF "REST" UNDER THE RULE OF THE GREAT "PRIEST (KING) UPON HIS THRONE." (ZECHARIAH 6:13).

4:10    For he that entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from His.

THESE THINGS WERE TO TAKE OUT THE BAD, AND BRING ON THE GOOD.

4:11    Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

LET IT BE YOUR DESIRE TO ENTER INTO CHRIST'S REST, NOT THE DOCTRINES AND TRADITIONS OF MEN.

4:12    For the word of God is quick (alive), and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword,

piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE, AND POWERFUL, AND SHARPER THAN A TWO EDGED SWORD.  GOD CAN LOOK INTO YOUR OWN HEART.

"IN THE LAST DAY" MAN WILL BE JUDGED BY THE SAME WORD ON WHICH HE NOW SITS IN JUDGMENT. "DIVIDING ASUNDER OF SOUL AND SPIRIT" MEANS NOT ONLY DIFFERENTIATING BETWEEN THAT WHICH IS BEGOTTEN OF THE FLESH AND THAT WHICH IS BEGOTTEN OF THE SPIRIT (JOHN 3:6) IN THE INDIVIDUAL ; BUT ALSO BETWEEN THE NATURAL MAN AND THE SPIRITUAL MAN.

KATABOLE :

KATABOLE = DISRUPTION, OR RUIN.

The word is connected with the "world" (cosmos), and therefore the expression should be rendered "the disruption (or ruin) of the world", clearly referring to the condition indicated in Genesis 1:2, and described in II Peter 3:5-6.  For the earth was not created tohu (void), but became so, as stated in the Hebrew of Genesis 1:2 and confirmed by II Peter 3:6, where "the world that then was by the word of God" (Genesis 1:1), perished, and "the heavens and the earth which are now, by the same word" were created (Genesis 2:4), and are "kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment" (II Peter 3:7) which shall usher in the "new heavens and the new earth" of II Peter 3:13.

Why that world perished ?  Because of Satan's fall from grace.

He was the main hand of God ; He guarded the Mercy Seat.  However, he thought he was so great and powerful, he wanted to be God.  He took on his side 1/3 of God's children.  God did not want to destroy 1/3 of his children (everyone was on a spiritual body then), therefore, He destroyed the age, and created this flesh age to give everyone a chance ; to love Him or to love Satan.  Everyone's memory was erased.

Make a note of Isaiah 45:18, Proverbs 8:22-25, II Peter 3:5-10, Jeremiah 4:22-27, Rev. 12:4.

CREATION VERSUS EVOLUTION

 

Man starts from nothing,  He begins in helplessness, ignorance, and inexperience.  All his works, therefore, proceed on the principle of evolution.  This principle is seen only in human affairs : from the hut to the palace ; from the canoe to the ocean liner ; from the spade and ploughshare to machines from drilling, reaping, and binding.  But the birds build their nests today as at the beginning.  The moment we pass the boundary line, and enter the Divine sphere, no trace or vestige of evolution is seen.  There is growth and development within, but no passing, change, or evolution out from one into another.  On the other hand, all God's works are perfect.

Evolution is only one of several theories invented to explain the phenomena of created things.  It is admitted by all scientists that no one of these theories covers all the ground ; and the greatest claim made for Evolution, is that "it covers more ground than any of the others."

The Word of God claims to cover all the ground : and the only way in which this claim is met, is by a denial of the inspiration of the Scriptures, in order to weaken it.  This is the special work undertaken by the so-called "Higher Criticism", which bases its conclusions on human assumptions and reasoning, instead of on the documentary of manuscripts, as Textual Criticism does.

STUDY TO SHEW THYSELF APPROVED UNTO GOD

 How do I achieve spiritual discernment ?  By studying the Word of God in depth.

This is the only way you won't be deceived by the world and most churches. 

If it's not written in the Word it's not true.

II TIMOTHY 2:15     Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly divining the word of truth.

2:16    But shun profane and vain babblings : for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

IN OTHER WORDS, SHUN AWAY MEN'S DOCTRINES AND TRADITIONS.

2:17   And their word will eat as doth a canker (gangrene) : of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus ;

THEY WERE PREACHERS OF THE TIME.

2:18    Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some.

THERE ARE CHURCHES TODAY THAT TEACH THE BOOK OF REVELATION HAS ALREADY HAPPPENED IN THE ROMAN TIMES.

IT IS FALSE AND MISLEADING.

CHRISTIANITY IS NOT A RELIGION BUT A WAY OF LIFE.

DON'T PUT YOUR TRUST TO A MAN ONE HUNDRED PRECENT ; PUT YOU TRUST ON GOD.  HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN ; PEOPLE WILL.

THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRUSTED MEN TO BE THEIR RELIGIOUS LEADERS AND LOST THEIR FAITH BECAUSE OF THAT.

THIS IS WHY JUDGMENT STARTS WITH THE PRIESTS, PASTORS, MINISTERS, PREACHERS (Malachi 3:3).

OUR TWO BODIES

OUR TWO BODIES : TERRESTRIAL AND CELESTIAL

 Did you know we have two bodies ?  The Word of God says so.

I CORINTHIANS 15:35    But some men will say, "How are the dead raised up ? and with what body do they come ?"

15:36    Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened except it die :

THE FLESH CANNOT BE MADE ALIVE ; IT DIES.

15:37    And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain :

15:38    But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body.

HE CREATED EVERYBODY IN THAT SEED AND IT PLEASED HIM.

15:39   All flesh is not the same flesh : but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

NOT ALL FLESH IS THE SAME FLESH.

15:40    There are also celestial (heavenly) bodies, and bodies terrestrial (earthy) : but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

WE HAVE TWO BODIES : THE EARTHY AND THE HEAVENLY.

15:41    There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars : for one star differeth from another star in glory.

15:42    So also is the resurrection of the dead.  It is sown in corruption ; it is raised in incorruption :

NOBODY STAYS IN A HOLE ON THE GROUND ; WE ARE ALL CHANGED INTO THE SPIRITUAL BODY PREPARING FOR JUDGMENT.

"To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." (II CORINTHIANS 5:8).

15:43     It is sown in dishonor ; it is raised in glory : it is sown in weakness ; it is raised in power :

THE FLESH BODY IS WEAK BUT NOT THE SPIRITUAL BODY.

15:44    It is sown a natural body ; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

15:45    And so it is written, "The first man Adam was made a living soul ;" the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

THE LAST ADAM WAS CHRIST.

15:46    Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural ; and afterward that which is spiritual.

BUT NOT FIRST THE SPIRITUAL, BUT THE NATURAL.

15:47    The first man is of the earth, earthy : the second man is the Lord from heaven.

15:48    As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy : and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

15:49    And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

IN OTHER WORDS, WE LOOK THE SAME IN THE SPIRITUAL BODY AS WE DO IN THE FLESH.

15:50     Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God ; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

IN OTHER WORDS, FLESH CANNOT ENTER HEAVEN ; ONLY OUR SPIRITUAL BODY CAN. FLESH IS SINFUL AND CANNOT BE WITH GOD.

STAY FOCUSED IN THE LAST DAYS

                                                 Be alert and focused in the last days.

You know we are at the last days when the Bible is like listening to the evening news.

However, you don't need to be afraid because, GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL AND WE WILL HAVE THE VICTORY AT THE END.

II TIMOTHY 3:1     This know also, that in the last days perilous (hard, difficult, grievous) times shall come.

3:2    For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous (lovers of money), boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3:3    Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

3:4    Traitors, heady (headstrong), high minded (puffed up), lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God ;

3:5    Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof : for such turn away.
