THE TARES

                            THE SUBJECT OF TODAY'S STUDY IS "THE TARES".

      WHO ARE THE TARES ?  WHY JESUS WANT YOU TO KNOW ABOUT THEM ?

LET'S GO TO MATTHEW CHAPTER 13.

Matthew 13:24    Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, "The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field :

13:25    But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

HIS ENEMY = SATAN.

TARES = KENITES (SATAN'S OFFSPRING).

13:26    But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

EVERYTIME YOU DO GOD'S WORK THE KENITES WILL ALWAYS BE HERE TO TRY TO STOP YOU.

13:27    So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, 'Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field ? from whence then hath it tares ?

THE TARES ARE THE ONES THAT GOVERN THE WORLD.  YOU CAN RECOGNIZE THEM BY THEIR FRUIT.  

THEY WILL MOCK GOD AND TRY THE BEST THEY CAN TO TAKE GOD OUT OF EVERYTHING. ON THE OTHER HAND THEY CAN DECEIVE YOU BY PLAYING RELIGION.  THEY WILL CHANGE THE WORD JUST A LITTLE BIT SO THE WHOLE MEANING IS LOST. SATAN DID THIS WHEN HE TEMPTED CHRIST (MATT. 4).

13:28   He said unto them, 'An enemy hath done this.' The servants said unto him, 'Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up ?'

13:29    But he said, 'Nay ; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

JESUS IS TELLING YOU TO LEAVE THEM ALONE.

13:30    Let both grow together until the harvest : and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, 'Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them : but gather the wheat into my barn.' ' "

GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM ON JUDGMENT DAY.

LET'S SKIP TO VERSE 37.

HE IS EXPLAINING TO YOU WHO THE TARES ARE.

13:37   He answered and said unto them, "He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man ;

13:38   The field is the world ; the good seed are the children of the kingdom ; but the tares are the children of the wicked one ;

WICKED ONE = THE DEVIL.

13:39    The enemy that sowed them is the devil ; the harvest is the end of the world ; and the reapers are the angels.

JESUS IS TELLING YOU THAT THE ENEMY IS SATAN, AND THE TARES ARE HIS CHILDREN.

13:40    As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire ; so shall it be in the end of the world.

IN OTHER WORDS, THE TARES WILL CEASE TO EXIST ON JUDGMENT DAY.

IN JOHN 8:42-47, JESUS IDENTIFIES THE KENITES. 

IN VERSE 31, HE TELLS YOU THAT THEY CALL THEMSELVES JEWS BUT ARE NOT.

THEY WERE AFTER TO KILL HIM ; THESE WERE THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS OF THE TIME.

John 8:42    Jesus said unto them, "If God were your Father, ye would love Me : for I proceeded forth and came from God ; neither came I of Myself, but He sent Me.

8:43    Why do ye not understand My speech ? even because ye cannot hear My word.

YOU DON'T HAVE EARS TO HEAR BECAUSE OF YOUR FATHER (SATAN).

8:44    Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own : for he is a liar, and the father of it.

WHO WAS THE FIRST MURDERER ? CAIN  (HE MURDERED HIS BROTHER ABEL).

CAIN'S FATHER IS SATAN AFTER HE SEDUCED EVE.

8:45    And because I tell you the truth, ye believe Me not.

8:46   Which of you convinceth Me of sin ? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe Me ?

THEY LIKE TO TWIST SCRIPTURE AND CHANGE THE WORD.

8:47    He that is of God heareth God's words : ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God."

A KENITE CAN BE CONVERTED IF HE  CHOOSES TO DO SO.

LET'S FINISH OUR STUDY WITH I CHRONICLES 2:55.

I Chronicles 2:55   And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez ; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites.  These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

THESE WERE NOT THE SCRIBES OF JUDAH.

KENITE MEANS THE SON OF CAIN.
